Background Information
Influenza (Flu)
Influenza is a common viral infection. It can spread by touching contaminated surfaces, saliva, and skin-to-skin contact. According to Kohut (2004), vaccine efficiency rates among young adults rage from 65-68%. Many efforts have been made to develop a more advanced immunity response. Researches have provided nutritional supplements and adjuvant administration. However, no clear plan has emerged with consistent results. A significant number of people can remain susceptible to the influenza virus even after immunization.
